Victoria Park Master Plan

The Federation is working closely with the City of Saint Paul and Parks and Recreation to provide neighborhood input on the Victoria Park Master Plan.
The purpose of the project is to develop a master plan and cost estimate for phased development of the future Victoria Park. Victoria Park is one block south of West 7th Street bordered by Montreal Way to the west, Otto Avenue to the east, Mississippi River to the south and Mississippi Market Co-Op and Sholom Community Alliance to the north. The 40.4 acre site is divided by the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul railroad.

FRF Park Committee Selects New Name - Quarry Farm Park
“Quarry Farm Park” has been selected for the name of the overall park, reflecting its history as both a quarry and a farm. Some of the places inside Quarry Farm Park have been named as well, including:
Main overlook: Bald Eagle Overlook
Foundations bins: Stockman’s Rest
Downhill Path: Ferry Hill Road
Path from Shepard: Old Fort Road
South Pond: Shrub Carr Pond
Birding Area: Darwin Downs
The main name change will go before the City Council, the internal ones are or the Parks Department to approve. Visit their park webpage for more information.
