Our Work
The Fort Road Federation works with the City of Saint Paul, nonprofit organizations, business and community members to foster economic development, housing projects, and community development initiatives that impacts the entire West 7th Street neighborhood.
Business Support
The West Seventh Neighborhood is a vibrant community of restaurants, local businesses, community gathering spaces, theater and artists.
Committees
The Fort Road Federation has three standing committees, Community Engagement and Fundraising, Transportation and Land Use, and the Governance Committee.
Fort Road Community Garden
The Fort Road Federation coordinates the Fort Road Community Garden located at the northeast corner of Jefferson Avenue and Victoria Street.
District Plan
The District Plans are completed by each District Council. They are a process of community engagement to discuss and set priorities for the future development. The purpose of a District Plan is to articulate the vision of the neighborhood and guide growth and development. The small area plans are updated every 10 years.
Organize Neighbors
From National Night Out to block clubs to crime prevention, we work with neighbors around the issues and ideas important to them.
Recycling, Clean ups, and Waste Reduction
The city of Saint Paul, through its partnership with Eureka Recycling, provides recycling services to all Saint Paul residents.
