Citywide Drop-Off - Saturday, September 16th at the MN State Fair Grounds
For over 20 years, the City has partnered with local district councils, such as the West 7th / Fort Road Federation, to organize annual Citywide Drop-off Events. Residents can properly dispose of large items and recycle materials not collected in the residential collection program. For information, visit stpaul.gov/drop-offs.

Volunteers receive a voucher to dispose of one load for free. District 10, Como Community Council is organizing volunteers this year. Please fill out this form if you'd like to help out.
Senior Pick-Up
As part of our coordination, we facilitate at-home pick-ups for qualifying items for community seniors. *If you are a senior in the West 7th area and would like your items picked up from your home, email julia@fortroadfederation.org no later than Monday, Sept. 11, 2023. Everything must be outside in front of your house by 8am Saturday, Sept 16, 2023. Rates below apply.

Reminder: As part of the regular Citywide Coordinated Garbage Program (1-4-unit residential properties), residents can dispose of 2-3 bulky items each year. This includes electronics, appliances, mattresses, and many other items. Click here for more information.

- Mattresses and box springs
- $5 – each (any size, foam or standard – Must be dry! No Bed Frames!)

- $6 – each (car and truck)

- Electronics without screens (VCRs/DVD players, game consoles, hard drives, printers, etc.)
- Items with screens (TVs, monitors, tablets, laptops, etc.)

- Computer Accessories (keyboard, mouse, etc)

- Cardboard (flattened)
- Paper for Shredding
- Scrap Metal
- Small Engines (liquids removed)
